Part of Home Suspended, Yoga Mat Prayer Rug is a short film that initiated from the sentiment of carrying one's yoga mat like a child carries his safety blanket. The film establishes a relationship between the rituals of yoga and Muslim prayer to suggest the act of relinquishing one's religion only to end up reliving it, but in a slightly different form.
